As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership. You will be responsible for establishing and executing procurement strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduced working capital, and ensure supply continuity. This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing value engineering initiatives, and eliminating sole/single sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing practices to optimize procurement processes
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, conducting regular evaluations and driving continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience (2+ years) in Contract Management and Negotiations
- Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel
