As a Sr. Travel and Expense (T&E) Specialist, you will be part of a global team responsible for processing payments, managing corporate card programs, and ensuring compliance across AMERICAS, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. You will contribute to the ongoing development of T&E strategies and processes that support our employees and the financial performance of the company.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Sr. Travel and Expense (T&E) Analyst, you will:

  • Oversee the processing of T&E payments, follow up on applications and ensure funds are distributed before due dates.
  • Manage BIP Payments, BTA Payments, and additional corporate card program payments across all global regions.
  • Conduct compliance checks for all T&E transactions to ensure adherence to policy and SOX controls.
  • Administer the application process for issuing corporate cards and maintain longstanding relationships with our providers.
  • Lead the administration of P-card and Meeting card programs, including user access, data verification, and reporting.
  • Analyze the impact of travel on the company’s budget and overall financial performance.
  • Support and enhance user experience by implementing mobile, automated, and self-service solutions.
  • Develop and execute communication and training plans to keep employees and management informed about T&E updates and performance.

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Sr. Travel and Expense (T&E) Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Advanced English proficiency both written and oral. Candidates will be tested before entering the selection process. Portuguese highly desired.
  • 5 years of proven experience in travel and expense management or related finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of global payment processes (BIP, BTA, P-card, corporate cards) across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct compliance checks and ensure SOX control adherence.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess the financial impact of travel and expense activities.
  • Experience administering corporate card programs and supporting end-users.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and inform a diverse, global workforce.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to providing a seamless customer experience.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working in a multinational corporation or with global teams.
  • Familiarity with automated and mobile T&E solutions.
  • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters’ T&E policies and systems.
