YOUR ROLE
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel drivers for peripherals such as tuners, A2B communication interfaces, and SPI/I2C buses.
- Integrate drivers into the Linux kernel and ensure seamless operation within the target SoC environment.
- Develop and execute test applications and validation frameworks to ensure driver functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and QA to align on requirements and integration strategies.
- Lead technical discussions, provide architectural guidance, and mentor junior engineers in embedded software best practices.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, proactively identify risks, and drive resolution with minimal supervision.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux development, including kernel space and user space programming.
- Strong expertise in Linux device driver development, particularly for SPI, I2C, and A2B interfaces.
- Proven experience with Qualcomm SoCs and familiarity with their development toolchains and BSPs.
- Proficient in C/C++, with solid debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent English communication.
- Please note that this is an On-Site position in Querétaro.
