We are seeking a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable & Receivable, you will be part of the Central Accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and contributing to process improvements.
About the Role
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, verification, and payment.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements related to accounts payable.
- Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable/ accounts receivable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication in English/Spanish and interpersonal skills.
