Our Team
Join our dynamic Transportation Solutions division, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and global design centers to deliver industry-leading products. You'll report to the Product Design Engineering Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity systems.
What You Will Do
- Partner with customers and internal teams to define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead concept development and deliver manufacturable, cost-effective solutions that meet rigorous automotive standards.
- Apply engineering expertise to conduct DFMEA, FEA, Tolerance Analysis, and create detailed product models and drawings using GD&T methodology.
- Manage engineering change requests and develop validation plans to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Facilitate technical reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design and quality.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive product design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX or similar), GD&T, DFMEA, FEA, and Tolerance Analysis.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
What Will Put You Ahead
- In-depth knowledge of material mechanics and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, over-molding, stamping, and plating.
- Experience designing connectors, headers, and radar sensors, including tolerance stack-up studies and engineering changes.
- Familiarity with international quality systems (IATF, ISO, TS), APQP, and PPAP processes.
- Proficiency with computational tools such as Microsoft Office and Minitab.
