YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Capgemini. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and experience in automotive component development. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Develop and analyze Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for automotive components
- Apply principles of Mechanics of Materials in component design and analysis
- Conduct and interpret Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design processes
- Work with injection molded plastics for automotive applications
- Collaborate on projects involving electromechanical systems, considering electrical principles and high voltage safety
- Perform tests, measurements, and calibrations in accordance with ISO 17025 standards or equivalent
YOUR PROFILE
- Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of fundamental Mechanical Engineering principles
- Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R methodologies
- Proficiency in CAE analysis tools
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in automotive design
- Familiarity with injection molded plastics and their properties
- Understanding of electrical principles and electromechanical systems
- Knowledge of high voltage safety practices in automotive applications
- Experience working in ISO 17025 compliant laboratories or equivalent standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
