This role leads complex projects within the Industrialization Process for Chinaware New Product Development (NPD), providing advanced engineering expertise to manufacturing facilities. The Project Engineer will lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic planning and execution for industrialization and will also be responsible for supporting existing products as quality or manufacturing issues related to design arise. The engineer will be responsible for creating the necessary documentation to hand over the product to operations. They will proactively identify system-wide process improvements and apply deep problem-solving skills to improve product performance, reduce costs, and increase the product efficiency. The engineer should act as a technical mentor to junior engineers.
- Lead large-scale NPD projects (Product/Cost Improvement, Product Transfers), ensuring alignment with business strategy, technical feasibility, and operational capability.
- Develop and optimize process controls for NPD projects using advanced tools (e.g., DFMA, DOE, statistical modeling) to exceed performance targets (yield, cost, quality).
- Act as a key link between Engineering US, Operations team, quality teams, and process teams to properly introduce new products into the manufacturing plants.

- Mentor and support junior engineers and cross-functional teams in industrialization best practices and problem-solving.
- Create Standard Operating procedures for NPD and existing products.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Preferable degrees would be in Chemical, Industrial , Ceramic, Materials or Mechanical disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in NPD industrialization or manufacturing engineering roles
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
- PFMEA facilitation and risk management expertise.
- Experience in global teams and multi-site product launches.
- Advanced problem-solving and statistical analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, DOE, control charts, Cp/Cpk)
- Fluent English.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
