Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in optimizing manufacturing processes, driving production\ efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across all operations. This role will own the technical foundation of our production systems—including work centers,
routings, and bills of materials (BOMs)—within our ERP/MRP environment, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and manufacturability.
Location: Commerce, Texas.

Reports To: General Manager.

Compensation:
-Annual Salary: $104k to 128k

A successful candidate must be able to:
-Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and process engineers.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, planning, and supply chain teams.
-Drive strategic manufacturing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
-Champion a culture of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing.
-Oversee the development, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
-Manage tooling, fixturing, and equipment selection to support new and existing product lines.
-Ensure adherence to Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
-Implement automation and advanced manufacturing technologies where applicable.
-Own and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), work center configurations, and production routings in the ERP/MRP system.
-Develop and enforce change control processes for manufacturing data integrity.
-Support production planning and scheduling through accurate process time standards and capacity data.
-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, OEE, scrap rates, and cycle times.
-Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA) for production issues.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
-7+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
-Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NETSUITE SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.), particularly with BOMs, work centers, and routings.
-Proficient in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
-Knowledge of GD&T, process FMEAs, SPC, and standard time calculation Methods.
Preferred:
-Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Solar battery and inverters, automotive,aerospace).
-Experience with CAD/CAM software and automation systems (PLC/robotics).

Physical Requirements:
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per month
