YOUR ROLE
- Develop and analyze Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for automotive components.
- Apply principles of Mechanics of Materials in component design and analysis.
- Conduct and interpret Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis.
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design processes.
- Work with injection molded plastics for automotive applications
- Collaborate on projects involving electromechanical systems, considering electrical principles and high voltage safety. Perform tests, measurements, and calibrations in accordance with ISO 17025 standards or equivalent.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, etc.).
- 5-6 years or more in automotive industry as a Design & Release Engineer or similar roles.
- Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAE analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in automotive design.
- Familiarity with injection molded plastics and their properties.
- Understanding of electrical principles and electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of high voltage safety practices in automotive applications.
- Experience working in ISO 17025 compliant laboratories or equivalent standards.
- Certification in relevant engineering or quality assurance fields is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication in English and teamwork abilities.
