What You'll Do
- Own and evolve financial reporting and the general ledger for Fictiv Mexico, ensuring both accuracy and insight.
- Ensure compliance in bookkeeping, taxation, and reporting — while identifying smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions.
- Manage cash flow and foreign exchange in a dynamic, fast-moving market.
- Redesign and optimize accounting processes for both local and cross-border transactions.
- Lead payroll and vendor payments with precision and efficiency.
- Drive faster, more accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
- Champion ERP best practices for order fulfillment and invoicing efficiency.
- Partner closely with US-based leadership to exchange ideas, insights, and solutions.
- Serve as a change agent, introducing improvements that scale with company growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
- 7–12 years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
- Experience in tech, manufacturing, or multinational environments preferred, but not required.
- Skilled in cost or inventory accounting.
- Proven track record of leading process improvements and challenging the status quo.
- Excellent understanding of local financial and tax regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with hands-on execution.
- Comfortable working across global time zones in high-growth environments.
- Strong business English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades
- Supervisar y evolucionar los reportes financieros y el libro mayor de Fictiv México, garantizando precisión y valor estratégico.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento contable, fiscal y de reportes, encontrando soluciones más ágiles, eficientes y escalables.
- Administrar el flujo de efectivo y las operaciones de tipo de cambio en un mercado dinámico.
- Rediseñar y optimizar procesos contables para transacciones locales e internacionales.
- Liderar la nómina y pagos a proveedores con precisión y eficiencia.
- Mejorar los tiempos y exactitud en los cierres mensuales, trimestrales y anuales.
- Impulsar el uso óptimo del ERP para optimizar el cumplimiento de pedidos y la facturación.
- Colaborar estrechamente con el liderazgo en Estados Unidos para intercambiar ideas, datos y soluciones.
- Actuar como agente de cambio, implementando mejoras que crezcan con la empresa.
Requisitos
- Licenciatura en Contaduría, Finanzas o carrera afín (CPA o MBA deseable).
- Entre 7 y 12 años de experiencia en reportes financieros y contabilidad general.
- Experiencia en tecnología, manufactura o entornos multinacionales preferida, pero no requerida.
- Experiencia en contabilidad de costos o inventarios.
- Historial comprobado de liderar mejoras de procesos y desafiar el statu quo.
- Excelente conocimiento de las normativas fiscales y contables locales.
- Liderazgo sólido con ejecución práctica.
- Capacidad para trabajar en diferentes husos horarios en entornos de alto crecimiento.
- Inglés profesional (escrito y hablado).
