Position Overview
As a Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will be vital in processing billing information promptly and accurately. You will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring that all necessary financial documentation is completed and compliant with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process billing documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing information and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain organized records of invoices and billing-related documents.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for billing processes.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing in a professional manner.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency within the billing department.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; preference for candidates with a degree in finance or accounting.
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with billing software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
