Job Purpose and Overview
Responsible for daily operational support of SAP environment and interfaces. Responsible for the lifecycle management of the systems, planning and executing installations, patches, upgrades, etc. Will work closely with systems analysts and other team members to understand business IT requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions in compliance with blueprints and business strategies. Work with the development and functional teams to promote changes throughout the environment.
Schedule: This is a Monday–Friday day position, 60% office - 40% home office. This role is based on Mexico City being part of a Global Team. Working in an Easten Time Zone (US & Canada).
What will you do as an SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR II at Dawn Foods?:
- Supports departmental functions/usage of Dawn's SAP modules; evaluates business Evaluates and supports SAP system enhancements and performs quality assurance functions.
- Ensures optimal performance and operation of SAP environments.
- Maintain/update SAP environment systems.
- Organizes and maintains job scheduling.
- Maintains SAP workloads, batch processes, and background activities.
- Performs and controls manual and automatic system checks.
- Research and provide direction for applying SAP software corrections and new applications.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation for performing production support activities.
- Performs system refresh procedures, as necessary.
- Participates in developing maintenance, testing, and contingency plans for the SAP environment.
- Provides proactive support through effective capacity planning and change management.
- Provides support for customers of the service and introduces process improvement measures to reduce reactive work.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Demonstrates the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and supports the Dawn Circle of Excellence.
- Build and maintain SAP and infrastructure automation with Ansible and Node Red.
- Troubleshoot cloud connectivity via message servers and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Assist in troubleshooting of BTP and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Connectivity.
- Support for Hyland OnBase or comparable enterprise content management system to include management of disk groups, connection to SAP via ArchiveLink, and upgrades/patches.
- Support for other Enterprise Applications and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues with connectivity to Dawn Digital Platform.
What does it take to be an SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR II at Dawn Foods:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or related, or equivalent work experience with applicable associate’s degree
- Advanced English is essential for the role
- 8-10 Years of IT Experience
- 5-8 Years of SAP Basis Experience.
- Understanding of MS SQL and SAP HANA Databases.
- Advanced troubleshooting of SAP Application, Database, and Server Environments
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP applications and functions
- Ability to manage Microsoft Windows Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
