What the Information Technology Department does at Worldwide
The IT department is made up of seasoned professionals united in one common goal: to keep Worldwide’s technical infrastructure operating at the highest levels for our employees and our customers. We are a global team comprised of numerous professionals including cyber security, artificial intelligence, IT helpdesk, application support, and more.
What you will do
Lead migration of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure using best practices and automated tooling.
Deploy, configure, and manage Azure IaaS (VMs, virtual networks, load balancers, etc.) and PaaS (App Services, Functions, etc.) resources.
Integrate and manage Azure Marketplace tools including storage (e.g., NetApp Files), firewalls, and monitoring solutions.
Implement and enforce infrastructure-as-code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and availability.
Automate operational tasks and incident response using Azure Automation, PowerShell, or Logic Apps.
What you will bring to the role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture, services, and operations.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
Experience implementing hybrid and cloud-native networks, storage, and identity solutions.
Effective troubleshooting skills in complex, distributed environments.
Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and security tools in Azure ecosystem.
Strong documentation and communication skills; able to work across global teams.
Your experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles or equivalent experience or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience of IT infrastructure roles or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing workloads in Microsoft Azure.
Demonstrated experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid infrastructure components.
Experience with Azure Automation, ARM templates, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
