Role Purpose:
Responsible for steer and execute the marketing strategy for Allegra Mexico to deliver business objectives.
Brand manager is accountable of all aspects of the brand, such as market share, budget control, Brand equity and Sales.
Main responsibilities
- Development of strategies and activities for the Brand in charge based on the strategic direction, the market situation and resources of the company, seeking the fulfillment of the objectives
- Identify the target group and proposes brand strategies based on the analysis of the information available (IQVIA, CLOSE UP, Researches, etc.)
- Monitor and analyze sales results, investment promotion and profitability the brand (s) each month, SKU and by product line, by type of channel and customer, as well as checking inventory levels the company and every client.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring the sales forecast, considering the market potential, financial goals, the earnings of the company and product availability.
- Get business insights through visits to customers and retail outlets nationwide
- Prepare creative, promotional and relevant research based on consumer media, "briefs" and coordinates the development process they generate.
- Responsible of the brand’s innovation process: propose innovation pipeline, develop product concepts, elaborate business cases and coordinate cross-functional team if an innovation launch happens
- Follow up and evaluate the impact of strategies / competitive activities (ie media, communication, promotions, PR, etc.) in their results and in their brand strategy.
- Communication with other areas to get brand projects happen (insights, shopper, media & digital, MCE, trade, etc)
Essential Requirements:
Advanced conversational English
Experience: Have been in marketing FMCG or OTC at least for 6-8 years
Experience desired: branding & positioning, digital campaigns and product launches
Knowledge: Marketing intelligence (analysis), financial skills (P&L accountability), creative communication process, forecasting and business case development.
Other skills: Market information, market research knowledge, project management, knowledge development of advertising campaigns, budget management.
