Your role at Clorox:
As a Jr. Accountant within our Global Business Services, Record to Report Team, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional partners performing monthly and quarterly close responsibilities.

In this role you will:
- Responsible for preparing and posting month end journal entries.
- Perform daily bank account reconciliation between system generated cash records vs. bank records.
- Bank Reconciliations process, analyze monthly activity, identify variances and differences, clearing of open items and follow to clear open items.
- Prepare month end close journal entries related to intercompany, accruals, loans and interest.
- Provide required support for external audits.

What we look for:
Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge desirable in SAP, HFM and Blackline.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate cross functionally with US teams.
