Role Description
The ZTD Regional Value Stream Business Partner is a key role in driving technology-enabled solutions that support the effectiveness and the digital transformation of the regional (international) commercial business. This role partners closely with regional business teams across species to understand day-to-day needs and long-term priorities, ensuring that IT services and tools enhance customer experience across channels and touchpoints, increase productivity, collaboration, and go-to-market performance.
Working closely with the regional international commercial business and the broader ZTD organization, this role supports the alignment of local business requirements with global technology strategies. It involves collaborating with business areas and leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, digital enablement, colleague experience optimization, and digital customer experience optimization.
The Business Partner will help shape scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions for regional international commercial business.
The role works in close coordination with global business partners, product teams, commercial delivery and operations and the MarTech architect to deliver impactful, sustainable, and scalable digital solutions tailored to the regional international markets.
This position requires a strong understanding of commercial operations, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to drive initiatives that improve business outcomes through technology.
Main Responsibilities
IT Partnership and Digital Customer Experience Value Stream Representation
• Build and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between regional International business stakeholders and ZTD teams to ensure alignment between business goals and IT capabilities.
• Drive the translation of customer engagement and commercial enablement strategies into actionable inputs for multi-year digital roadmaps and annual product planning in close partnership with broader ZTD Commercial, COE and regional business.
• Provide updates and insights on technology enablement efforts.
Strategic Planning and Execution
• Partner closely with the global commercial MarTech architect, value streams and product teams to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
o Act as a bridge between technical and business teams to ensure mutual understanding and effective communication.
o Engaging stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and build consensus for initiatives.
• Providing regional International Commercial perspectives for product backlog prioritization and user story refinement.
• Coordinating and supporting any UAT needs or pilots with product teams and business.
• Supporting change management and identifying methods to drive adoption.
• Help establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the digital customer experience products and other commercial Tech & Digital solutions.
Supporting IT Service Delivery and Operations
• Responsible for supporting the Regional Commercial business, in close coordination with market Business Partner, with IT service delivery and operational needs as it relates to digital customer experience, commercial enablement and colleague effectiveness products.
• Collaborate across ZTD and business including coordinating with non-Commercial teams to drive operational improvements for digital customer experience, commercial enablement and colleague effectiveness products:
o Analyze incidents and recurring issues to drive root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
o Communicating root cause analysis and resolution to business stakeholders.
• Monitor initiatives, gather user feedback, and provide input for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support digital customer experience, commercial enablement, and colleague effectiveness products portfolio in alignment to ZTD commercial budget targets
Risk Management and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, regulations, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with operational and release changes
Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, technology, or related field
Experience:
• 9+ years of practical experiences with commercial operations, or IT business partnering roles.
• Experience or familiarity with CRM platforms, sales performance management, EDI and integration, data & analytics, digital marketing tools, digital customer engagement, eCommerce, content management or field force enablement technologies.
• Professional record as a trusted advisor that reflects significant strategic partnership with and contribution to the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and self-motivated to navigate from problem to resolution.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Strong understanding of IT service management and delivery.
• Experience with budget management and financial planning.
• Comfortable navigating matrixed environments and balancing global strategy with local execution needs.
• Proficient in Agile Ways of Working and practical experience with working in Agile teams, framework, and tools.
• Proficiency in IT Service Management Framework and tools such as ServiceNow
• High level of adaptability and learning agility to keep up with fast-paced technology changes.
