We are looking for a talented Supply Planner to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Electrolyzer Purchasing and Inventory Management Department in Guadalajara, Spain, Accelera.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Seamless Supply-Demand Alignment: You'll create a robust supply plan that aligns with the demand forecast, while factoring in plant capacity and raw material constraints—ensuring production feasibility and business continuity.
- Drive Granular Planning Precision: By disaggregating the demand plan into detailed time buckets (monthly, weekly, or by product), you'll enable more accurate and responsive production scheduling.
- Enable Operational Execution: Your handoff of the supply plan to the Materials team, along with purchase suggestions, will directly support timely procurement and uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain Critical Planning Infrastructure: You'll manage planning bills of material, product hierarchies, and category values—ensuring the planning system reflects accurate and up-to-date product structures.
- Optimize Network-Wide Synchronization: By coordinating production across the network and managing constraints, you'll help balance inventory levels and avoid bottlenecks, contributing to a resilient supply chain.
- Lead Proactive Deployment and Allocation: Your oversight of finished goods and materials allocation, along with proactive deployment strategies, will ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
- Resolve Daily Planning Conflicts: Twice daily, you'll address misalignments between firm demand and the current supply plan—realigning dependent plans and maintaining agility in response to changes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Solve Issues: You'll work closely with regional planners and customer support teams to resolve material supply issues, validate allocation logic, and provide feedback to commercial teams—enhancing transparency and decision-making.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Advanced Planning & Capacity Management Skills: You must be able to translate high-level production schedules into detailed resource requirements, identifying constraints and negotiating solutions (e.g., overtime, shift changes) to meet demand while optimizing internal capacity.
- Strong Master Scheduling & System Proficiency: Success depends on your ability to establish and maintain a valid Master Production Schedule that aligns procurement, production, and replenishment activities—leveraging planning systems as your primary tool, with occasional use of Excel or other ad hoc tools for problem-solving.
- Analytical Mindset with KPI Focus: You’ll need to interpret and act on supply chain KPIs, identifying performance gaps and balancing trade-offs to improve outcomes without negatively impacting other metrics—always keeping the end-customer impact in mind.
- Change Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: You should be adept at managing part changes (e.g., obsolescence, new releases) while minimizing excess inventory, and collaborating across teams to ensure changes are implemented smoothly and customer delivery requirements are met.
