What Will Your Day Be Like at ACPS Automotive Qro as a Supply Chain Specialist?Job Authority:
- Ensure product safety and operational integrity by promptly suspending any activity that presents a risk. If a critical situation is identified, the relevant areas must be promptly informed in accordance with the organization's established escalation plan.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the supply chain, facilitating the implementation of improvements in logistical processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations and policies.
- Make strategic decisions in inventory management and in the logistics of inbound and outbound products.
- Coordinate the resolution of incidents and operational issues while proposing and implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, actively participating in the choice of carriers.
- Authorize adjustments in supply chain processes to optimize efficiency.
- Supervise the proper implementation of occupational safety and health policies.
- Collaborate in the development of budgets and in cost control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the receipt and dispatch of products, managing inventories and ensuring control through periodic audits.
- Monitor OEM and Tier 1 customer portals, ensuring compliance with their specific invoicing and documentation requirements (e.g., via EDI).
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure material availability.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, as well as participate in internal and external audits.
- Design, implement, and track key performance indicator (KPI) systems in the supply chain, including the periodic preparation of reports and analysis for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Follow up on rejected or held invoices in customer portals, ensuring correction and resubmission according to specific requirements.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of foreign trade regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor LN).
- Inventory management.
- Proficiency in Excel for administrative tasks and data analysis.
- Supply chain coordination.
- Report generation.
- Training of new hires or support staff.
- Use of customer portals for invoicing and document uploads (OEMs/Tier 1).
- Implementation of internal controls.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and health policies.
- Budgeting and cost control.
Admission Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, SAP, ERP systems, foreign trade and customs regulations, inventory management techniques, data analysis, and report generation.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain-related positions.
