Your Role: Sr. Manager - Vet Finance Operations
As an Sr Manager in Vet Finance Operations, you will play a vital role in developing and overseeing financial strategies for the US Veterinary segment, ensuring alignment with company objectives. This role collaborates closely with senior management, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will also lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, while actively seeking opportunities for process improvement and automation. A key aspect of this role involves partnering with commercial teams to enhance their financial acumen and drive informed business decisions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and oversee financial strategies for the US Veterinary segment, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing financial insights to senior management.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, delivering accurate and timely reporting while monitoring market trends and competitor performance.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancement, simplification, and standardization, leveraging financial reporting tools to drive best practices.
- Commercial Business Partnering: Enhance commercial acumen of business partners by providing timely financial insights, developing strong relationships, and supporting commercial business decisions through financial modeling.
- Reporting & Analysis: Support all planning, forecasting, reporting, and monthly closing activities for the US Vet Commercial organization, including gross-to-net reporting, margin analysis, OPEX management, and financial review preparation.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; seven or more years of progressive finance experience; proven track record of financial leadership and strategic business partnership. English proficiency is mandatory for this position.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Experience in the animal health or pharmaceutical industry.
- Finance leadership within a publicly traded company.
- Strong understanding of financial systems (SAP S4 Hana, BPC, OneStream, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.).

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $129,500 MXN Gross to $137,8'00 MXN Gross depending partly on the successful candidate’s qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
