Role Responsibilities & Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Maintain internal PC/MOBILE demand market model and application specific models, both tops down and bottoms up approach
- Lead PC/Mobile market intelligence and market research to provide analysis to Micron corporate and BU, including supply/demand, competitors, customer product launch, eco-system dynamics, pricing trend…
- Analyze publicly available equity research reports, key analyst reports (TrendForce, IDC, IHS) and other market reports to assess and evaluate the competitor landscape and identify emerging trends/opportunities.
- Highlight and review key changes in the demand forecast and supporting assumptions
- Internal support to Business Line Manager and Product Management team to prepare go-to-market plans, product collateral, quarterly business review and competitor research
- Engage with other Micron business units on cross Business Unit (BU) application forecasts
- Provide business analytics internally through programming/modeling to optimize business decisions and drive critical initiatives
- Responsible for TAM data correctness and loading into Micron central database
- Conduct internal data analysis to support development of internal plans and reconciliations
- Collaborate with Micron Corporate Strategy team to drive internal corporate strategies and perform ad-hoc internal analysis for executives
- Support internal strategic projects such as portfolio analysis, Stage Gate etc.
Minimum Qualification
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Statistics/Math, Business, Economy, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management
- At least 3 years of industry research and market model experience, including driving a cross-function team and optimize complex processes
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data analysis
- Strong analytic skills and detail oriented
- Ability to work in team environment and maintain good relationships with team members
- Experience with full Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualification
- MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment
