Role Overview: As a Sr Advanced Data Analyst at Honeywell's VECE COE, you'll support Value Engineering & Component Engineering (VECE) COE initiatives by translating business requirements into technical solutions. You'll work with Data Visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI), Programming (e.g. Python), ETL/SQL (e.g. Azure) & Low-Code Applications (e.g. Mendix, Appian, Retool) to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assess and solve business problems to enable VECE Leadership & VECE Ideation and Execution.
- Design and build solutions using tools like DataViz software and Low-Code software.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
- Programming skills in Python or other OOP languages.
- Experience with Azure ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with low-code apps like Mendix or Retool. Knowledge of BI tools and databases.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
