Come join us! AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems. DATA Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in analytics, business acumen, and technical sales skills. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams that support implementation including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. Key job responsibilities As a key member of the AWS Specialist Solutions Architecture team your work will include: • Working closely with our product and field teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure. • Design best in class DATA solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles. • You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy data strategies, analytics, ML/AI and storage • Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment. • You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions. • Thought Leadership - Evangelize and stay ahead of FSI trends, regulations, and compliance requirements. Develop industry-specific solutions and represent AWS at key events and conferences and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. • Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer driven product improvement feedback. • Develop and support an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts and develop blogs, whitepapers and reference architectures A day in the life In this role, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of cloud architecture, working closely with leading financial institutions to design, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. - Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry, communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including at the C-level
