Specialist Accounts Receivable

As a Specialist Accounts Receivable supporting the US AR Team, you will be trusted to support customer accounts and payment processing at our Mexico City office.
IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:
• Interacting with Alcon customers for account and remit reconciliation and payment processing
• Solving customer and processing problems, escalating to Analyst/Sr. Analyst when needed
• Supporting the cash application team to ensure proper application of payments
• Assisting the AR team with data accumulation for MyAlconPay and Going Green projects
• Collaborating with the Key Accounts team to manage customer deductions
• Managing emails in the Payments inbox and answering incoming AR calls
• Providing invoice/statement copies and resolving account discrepancies
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
Some college education (flexibility regarding a bachelor’s degree)
Fluency in English – ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics
Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
Experience with SAP and/or Oracle systems
Experience handling credit card/direct debit payments and interacting with US-based clients
