Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with programming in Java.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, A/B testing.
- Experience in designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Experience in applied machine learning (e.g., computer vision, transformers, generative AI, LLM).
- Experience managing privacy-sensitive data with an understanding of data sharing requirements.

As a part of The Education Scaled Deployments (ESD) team, you will develop services to synchronize data between Google and Classroom and Student Information Systems (SIS), enabling secure, complaint, AI-ready workflows for education clients.

- Develop full-stack software solutions including User interface (UI), API and back-end components.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues with Application programming interfaces (API) and databases.
- Implement One Roster 1.2 and other open standards in education technology to create new APIs, data pipelines and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers and engineering teams to prioritize tasks, manage timelines and deliver projects.
