Job Overview
The purpose of this position is providing technical support to production areas to manufacture products that meet the quality and delivery requirements of our customers, considering a motivating work environment that guarantees the safety and physical integrity of the worker through compliance safety rules and procedures.
This position reports to the SMT Manufacturing Engineer.
Responsibilities
As the SMT Technician, you will:
- Provide Technical support to the entire SMT process, including machines and process.
- Reduce-Down time of SMT process.
- Perform continuous improvement activities, such as participating in continuous quality improvement teams to increase efficiency.
- Keep and increase Production rates.
- Keep 0 accidents in the area.
- Maintain the 5s + 1 (safety).
- Work as a team with the support areas (Quality, Materials, Engineering, Human Resources, HSE) to make possible the delivery of the expected results.
ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications:
- Electromechanical Engineering or similar grade.
- 2+ years of work experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- Availability of Schedule / Rotate shifts.
- Attitude of service, commitment, and fulfillment of tasks.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
