About this Position
In this role, you’ll be the key person ensuring that raw materials and packaging are available on time to keep weekly and monthly production plans running smoothly. You’ll act as the bridge between suppliers, transportation, and manufacturing, anticipating supply chain disruptions and responding quickly to critical situations. You’ll have a strategic impact on material planning, inventory optimization, and continuous process improvement, working closely with both local and international teams.What you´ll do
- Plan and schedule raw materials and sourced products to support production operations.
- Maintain and update planning data in SAP and other systems, including sourcing, replenishment, and material location data.
- Develop monthly procurement plans and conduct regular reviews of material requirements (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Serve as backup to production planners when needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Optimize transportation plans for key raw materials (rail, truck, etc.).
- Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing to align material usage with production needs.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage product life cycle activities, including new product introductions and transitions.
- Monitor and report on dysfunctional inventory and consignment stock across the supply chain.
- Participate in raw material meetings with corporate partners and escalate supply risks as needed.
- Generate and monitor inventory reports for sourced items and critical raw materials (e.g., totes, drums, trailers, silos).
- Respond quickly to supply disruptions, including force majeure events, shortages, or crises.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 4–6 years in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
- Preferred Industry: Manufacturing, chemical, consumer goods, or sectors with complex logistics.
- Advanced English will be required (daily communication with U.S. teams).
- Tools: SAP, MRP, APO SNP, Excel (pivot tables, dashboards).
- Strong communication skills with diverse teams.
- Analytical thinking, results-oriented mindset, and excellent organization.
- Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
