We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with expertise in JavaScript to help build and maintain robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, deeply knowledgeable in modern testing tools and methodologies, with a passion for driving innovation in quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Design automated test frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Develop test suites leveraging Playwright for web automation
- Utilize Chai Assertion Library for creating clean and reusable tests
- Implement BDD methodologies by integrating Cucumber JS into testing workflows
- Maintain test scripts and collaborate through Git version control system
- Partner with developers and product teams to standardize test strategies and goals
- Document defects clearly and streamline automation processes for scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript and TypeScript for building automation solutions
- Expertise in Playwright for creating reliable web-based tests
- Knowledge of Chai Assertion Library combined with familiarity in working with Cucumber JS
- Background in using Git for code management and collaboration
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Competency in BitBucket for managing repositories
- Understanding of Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Jira for Agile task tracking and management
- Knowledge of Xray plugin for comprehensive test integration into Jira workflows
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and Confluence
