About the role
As a Record to Report Specialist, you will be a key contributor to Carrier’s financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across various accounting functions. Your work will help maintain financial integrity, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Record to Report Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and analyzing financial activities in accordance with accounting standards and regulations
- Executing general ledger processes, including project and government accounting
- Leading monthly and quarterly close and consolidation cycles
- Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Preparing budgets and forecasts, and monitoring budget adherence
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Leading small-scale financial projects and process improvements
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Knowledge of government or project accounting
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks
