The Opportunity
This position works out of our Mexico City location in the Nutritional Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The Performance Media & Data Management Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing retail media investments while ensuring data-driven decision-making across all eCommerce platforms. This role combines expertise in performance media, data analytics, and commercial negotiations, ensuring that the brand maximizes visibility, sales, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
This role will collaborate with marketing teams, brand managers, and creative agencies to align advertising efforts with brand messaging and product launches. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing sales and performance data, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization of key eCommerce and media KPIs across platforms such as Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads, Walmart Connect, Rappi Ads, and brick-and-click retailer media
What You’ll Do:
1. Performance Media Strategy & Budget Optimization
- Develop data-driven retail media and performance marketing plans to maximize ROI.
- Lead commercial negotiations with retailers and platforms to secure cost-effective and high-impact placements.
- Build compelling investment proposals to gain budget approval from internal stakeholders.
- Manage and optimize advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across platforms.
- Stay updated on performance media trends, platform innovations, and best practices to enhance investment strategies.
2. Data Management & Performance Analytics
- Track, analyze, and interpret eCommerce sales data to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Consolidate retail media performance data and sales data to evaluate ad impact on revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking performance across Amazon, Mercado Libre, Walmart Connect, Rappi, and other platforms.
- Utilize data from crawler tools and analytics platforms to monitor share of search, pricing, availability, and competitor benchmarking.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize media spend and improve conversion rates.
3. Alignment with Marketing, Brand Managers & Trade
- Work closely with brand managers, marketing teams and Trade to align media campaigns with brand messaging, product launches, and promotional events.
- Ensure consistent messaging and timing across all digital channels, including retail media, social media, and owned digital platforms.
- Develop integrated campaign strategies that amplify brand storytelling and maximize engagement across multiple touchpoints.
- Coordinate with marketing teams and eCommerce agencies to develop campaign creatives (banners, videos, display ads) aligned with the brand’s identity and commercial priorities.
4. Retail Media & Performance Campaign Execution
- Manage and optimize advertising campaigns across:
- Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP).
- Mercado Libre Ads, optimizing search and display campaigns to maximize visibility and sales.
- Walmart Connect, ensuring strong placement in sponsored search, on-site banners, and off-site media.
- Rappi Ads, working with last-mile platforms to optimize advertising for conversion-driven campaigns.
- Brick-and-click retailer media ensuring strategic placements across multiple platforms.
- Optimize bidding strategies, keyword targeting, and audience segmentation to enhance ad spend efficiency and ROAS.
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, ad placements, and targeting to improve campaign performance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with eCommerce, sales, and brand marketing teams to align media and data strategies with business goals.
- Coordinate with creative and digital agencies to produce engaging and platform-specific assets.
- Work closely with retailers to secure prime ad placements and promotional opportunities.
- Collaborate with eCommerce partners to leverage promotional periods (Prime Day, Hot Sale, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, seasonal events) for strategic budget allocation.
6. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, share of voice, media efficiency, and campaign ROI.
- Use analytics tools and retailer dashboards to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure accurate sales and performance data integration into reports and dashboards for real-time tracking.
- Generate insights and recommend optimizations based on data trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in retail media, performance marketing, or eCommerce advertising.
- Strong data analytics skills, with experience in managing and interpreting sales and media performance data.
- Expertise in Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads, Walmart Connect, Rappi Ads, and other retailer media networks.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Power BI or others.
- Experience managing campaigns, media buying, budget allocation, and performance tracking.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to secure media budgets.
- Ability to collaborate with agencies, brand managers, and internal teams to develop high-quality creative assets.
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills for performance reporting.
