Purpose of the position
As an application developer, you shall be responsible for development and implementation of leading edge, business-oriented IT solutions.
Initiatives focus on services growth and business objectives, with particular orientation to Monitoring andCustomer Service functions, but shall also encompass multiple areas of the business including Marketing, Sales,
Finance, Customer Service, and Information systems.
Principal responsibilities
· Collaborate and coordinate with IT Management, technical, and business organization team members to define, execute, and implement agreed upon development strategy for strategic business initiatives through the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
· Collaborate within a virtual team settings
· Team coordination and work assignments meeting project milestones.
· Enable intra team coordination and oversee work assignments for the group.
· Architecture of the applications, as well as overseeing the work being done by other software developers working on the project.
· Understanding project scope, goals, and success criteria translating to team developers and system analysts.
· Reviews lists and schedules as appropriate with project management, business analyst and client users and obtain consensus and approval.
· Establish and document appropriate project task lists and implementation schedules.
· Contribute as an individual, plus as a lead for analysis, design and development of business systems.
· Act as an application programming resource, for the design, development and maintenance of the business information systems.
· Work with end-users, IT and other impacted areas and stakeholders to plan and prepare for implementation.
· Independently analyze and develop effective technical business solutions. Strong ability to document and communicate the solution vision, approach, work breakdown and plan.
· Prepare and present technical solutions for assigned tasks and assist junior developers with solution development.
· Participate in and conduct design and code reviews, development and execution of quality assurance plans to ensure the system’s ability to meet business requirements is fully and rigorously tested.
· Work closely with IT Database, Networking, Telecommunications and System Infrastructure teams to provide level-3 development support for a 24x7, mission-critical environment. Provide timely, and courteous support with open communications.
· Follow appropriate structured software development and project management controls, methodologies and standards.
· Understand and adhere to all software and systems standards.
· Develop and publish user and system documentation as required.
· Oversee release of software products.
· Occasional travel required.

· 8+ years professional experience in application and databasedevelopment (SDLC)
· 5+ years .Net development (C# and/or VB. Net) with object- oriented programming
· 5+ years SQL programming (including stored procedures development) using SQL Server 2005 and higher
· 3+ years professional experience creating, deploying and supporting cloud applications, services, and databases in Azure
· 3+ years in Technical Leadership Role with exposure to application
architecture and design patterns
· 3+ years of experience developing REST based web services; good knowledge of SOA best practices, methodologies, and standards
· 5+ years of developing and leveraging CI/CD pipelines
· 5 + years of Microsoft DevOps experience
· 5+ years of Bitbucket, GIT or some other source code repositories
· 5+ years web development using ASP. Net 4. 0 and above, MVC and JQuery
· 2+ years supporting applications running in azure environments
· 2+ years creating and modifying Classic pipelines or script base pipelines (YAML/Terraform)
· DevOps management experience including security, ticket and
board customization, build and release pipelines
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Ability to understand business issues and processes and relate them to computer based solutions
· Knowledge of computer and communications processing at the high-range, network and PC levels
· BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline or a combination of education and experience
· Experience with change management process and use of source control systems
· Experience with software release process
· Experience in large scale development systems and service delivery
· Experience working directly with end-users
