Are You Looking to:
- Play an active role in problem solving, process improvement and adjustments.
- Implementing all activities to maximize equipment efficiency in order to meet the manufacturing plan/production schedule and budgeted equipment expectations.
- Have operational responsibilities which include covering breaks, operating production machinery, assembling products, performing quality checks and pallet release duties.
- Work under moderate supervision and continuous communication with immediate supervisor as necessary.
Are You Ready to:
- Set up and remove mold from molding machines.
- Perform production starts and stops.
- Fine tune and adjust processes to optimize cycle times.
- Handle and dry all materials as needed.
- Oversee the production floor and directs operators.
- Handle all auxiliary equipment associated with molding.
- Keep control of spare parts for molding and molds availability, follow SMED methodology.
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Engineering OR at least 5 years’ hands-on work experience in Injection Molding.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment and supervisory experience.
- Physical demands: may engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling parts and part containers, may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
