The Logistics Assistant (LA) carries out duties associated with the day to day administrative function of Bison Logistics Team. Key duties include sending carrier contracts, proactive order/equipment tracing, recording of information in the logistics system, and troubleshooting, as required. The primary purpose of this job is to ensure that all service deliverables are on track while keeping the secondary purpose in mind to also ensure administrative functions of Bison ABL are completed in an accurate, timely and complete manner.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Defining all details relating to loads, ensuring that the chosen carrier understands and is able to meet all expectations.
- Order Tracking and Tracing.
- Recording of information in various operating systems.
- Troubleshooting as required.
- Sending revised load tenders for updated information.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience is an asset, but not a must.
- Advanced command of the English language with strong written and oral communication skills.
