Job Description:
1. Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of complex planning activities necessary to achieve production goals.
- Determines the quality and order date of the materials needed to meet production requirements.
- Maintains adequate inventory levels using MRP and reorder point planning.
- Manages the purchasing cycle, including converting requests into purchase orders, tracking purchase orders, receiving materials, and reconciling invoices.
- Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, identifies and resolves supply issues, expedites critical orders, resolves invoice discrepancies, including pricing, units of measure, and receiving discrepancies.
- Validates and complies with monthly inventory days, supply by product code, and facilitates the reduction of excess inventory.
- Responsible for key network metrics and shelf filling, rates, supply days, and inventory versus plan.
- Coordinates with the procurement, demand planning, implementation planning, and master materials departments in planning executable inventory levels.
- Leads and assists lower-level planners.

- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understands the product life cycle and underlying business planning requirements.
- Understands how role impacts the department and the organization and make system configuration recommendations to improve processes based on this understanding.

- Solid Customer Relations skills.
- Inventory analysis proficiency.
- Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Expert with SAP or other advanced planning, system Technology.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, purchasing inventory planning.
