Job Description
Serves as a strategic financial leader within the organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, reporting, cost controls, and compliance related to manufacturing activities. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting while driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic business decisions.
The position partners closely with operations, supply chain, and Corporate and Regional leadership to provide deep analysis and financial information to make the right decisions.
Main responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and corporate policies.
- Provide meaningful financial insights and variance analysis to support strategic decisions and performance improvement.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data related to manufacturing operations.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting
- Drive the annual budgeting process and lead monthly rolling forecasts for manufacturing sites.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts; proactively highlight risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with operational objectives.
3.Cost Accounting
- Lead cost accounting processes including standard cost development, variance analysis, and product margin reporting.
- Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and control; partner with supply chain to monitor inventory movements and levels.
4.Internal control
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
- Lead audit readiness and support both internal and external audits related to manufacturing.
5. Production Planning and Scheduling.-
- Act as a key finance partner in production planning and scheduling decisions, with an emphasis on cost, inventory, and working capital optimization.
- Evaluate and support make-vs-buy decisions, capacity utilization analysis, and capital investment justifications.
6.Transfer Price
- Ensure accurate transfer pricing is maintained for all relevant part numbers in accordance with internal policies and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with global finance teams to support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
7.Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and develop of Finance culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to operational strategy and execution.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
- CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred).
Additional Information
Experience:
- 5 -10+ years of progressive financial management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in cost accounting, ERP Systems, inventory management, and operational finance.
- Demonstrated success in leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik (preferred).
