Description
Purpose
The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading the technical personnel of his/her charge, providing and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance on the company's equipment, and is responsible for avoiding downtime due to machine malfunctions.
Key Responsibilities
Essential obligations and responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the Preventive Maintenance Program
- Supervise the effectiveness of maintenance activities
- Develop technical activities on the equipment to provide technic support and avoid downtimes
- Capture and analyze Program Downtime data for that purpose
- Accomplish management established goals and share them with the teamwork
- Lead maintenance technicians to accomplish goals
- Co-work with other departments to achieve goals
- Identify the top 5 failures and provide corrective actions according to problem solution techniques
- Periodic meetings with technical personnel to share results and discuss opportunity areas
- Accomplish established goals by management
- Ensure up to date in Maintenace Compliance Program
- Down time program capture
- Maintain CMMS Program updates with an adequate use
- Ensure the 5S’s in work area
- Create a respectful workplace environment
- Other responsibilities may be assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Desirable education, skills, and/or experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Lean Manufacture Certification
- Strong management and knowledge of OEE, Calculate Operation Availability, MTBF, MTTR
- 5+ years of experience as Maintenace Equipment Supervisor or related field
- Experience in PLCs, electronic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical control
- Strong knowledge of Atomization Equipment: Robotic Vision Systems, RFID, CNC, Laser Cutting or Marking
