Requirements:
- Industrial, automotive, mechatronics, electrical, or related engineering degree.
- Advanced English.
- PPAP and APQP training and experience.
- 4 year degree with at least 4 years experience in operations and commitment for the manufacturing floor, processes, and products.
- Technical knowledge in terms of leather, cutting and enrichments.
- Must have Quality sistems understanding.
Experience: Manufacturing processes in automotive sector, AutoCAD, Quality systems (ISO9001:2015/IATF16 949:2016, VDA 6.3 ), Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, AMEF, CP), Problem solving tools (8D’s, Ishikawa, DOE (Minitab)),
Primary duties/responsibilities:
- Assure that Program Input Matrix, specifications, customer specific requirements, etc. is being received from the commercial team for new programs and engineering changes.
- Schedule official kick-off of APQP phase 1 at local plant.
- Responsible for executing the established communication system for all "stakeholders" about the status of all launches and customer engineering changes - Main stakeholders are Sales, Commercial, Product Development, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Operations.
- Coordinate weekly meetings with the core team for the deployment and follow-up of new programs and customer engineering changes.
- Responsible for managing on-site launch timelines during the 5 phases of APQP and according to the project scope.
- Responsible for weekly launch reports to communicate launch status including yellow and red flags (escalation form).
- Ensure the right compliance of each APQP phase and the proper follow-up of deliverables, tasks, open items and findings per department.
- Responsible for managing all Engineering Changes requested by customer.
- Coordinate resources to run and validate all pre-production events and especial orders.
- Responsible for the planning and tracking, Prototype and Production Trial Runs. Planning and coordinating with supply chain.
- Follow-up PPAP submission from quality team to ensure its completion on time.
