For this role, you will need:
- Planning & Administration
- Provide information and assist to the Supervisor with IT budgeting and cost control
- Follow and implement Emerson policies regarding IT management, security, standards and procedures
- Assists users with business proposal generation, regarding our standards and policies
- Asset management – including Hardware lifecycle management and SW licensing.
- IT Infrastructure & Support:
- Ensure optimum support for end-users at all times within agreed service levels
- Ensure that relevant IT documentation is maintained and up to date
- Support and maintain the IT Infrastructure in terms of
- Security standards, aligning with the Emerson security policy.
- Systems and data access – to be handled in collaboration with Service Desk
- Backup and recovery including Disaster Recovery Planning
- Audit compliance
- Support the appropriate level of service for a centrally provided and maintained IT Infrastructure for: server, clients, printers and other standardized peripherals, data communication (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN access and required components), voice communication (local and remote)
- Act as a local point for all IT issues (Infrastructure and Application) at your site and within the Area and ensure engagement with the appropriate IT Group (Infrastructure, European Applications or Divisional Applications)
- Uses the helpdesk as the central point for all IT issues and service requests
- Communication:
- Establish good working relationship with users and other sources of support and assistance
- Establish the relationship between IT and the Business to become the trusted partner for delivering value and high levels of Service

For this role, you will need:
- 3-6 years of significant experience within a sophisticated IT Infrastructure environment
- Proven ability in the following (3 years):
- Demonstrable experience providing support for IT infrastructure, including servers, clients, printers, and other standardized peripherals, as well as data communication (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN access and related components) and voice communication (both local and remote).
- In direct user/customer interactions, using discussions, fix and risk evaluation to resolve customer issues.
- In working with IT documentation, standards and policies, as well as vendor related processes
- Knowledge on VMware ESXi / VCenter knowledge, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Cisco networking knowledge, CITRIX; MS Remote Access.
- Experience in IP networking administration and services including DNS, DHCP, Security & Compliance tools (e.g. Ivanti/MECM, WSUS, Symantec, FireEye), Active Directory and GPO & policy design and support.
- English interpersonal skills – written, verbal and listening.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- College/University degree in a related field or experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Demonstrable experience working closely with senior business leadership and collaborating with multiple partners.
- ITIL 4 Foundational Certification
Other Requirements:
- Availability to travel in the designated area/country
- Flexible towards working hours for maintenance activities
