The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as an HSE Manager at Reynosa, MX. The HSE Manager will be part of our mission to create a safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplace. You will ensure compliance with national laws and company standards, making a significant impact on our operations and the well-being of our employees. How You'll Make an Impact

• Act as a coach and advisor to the supervision team on HSE management.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.

• Maintain and execute HSE management systems, conduct inspections and audits, and manage corrective actions.

• Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and analysis programs.

• Analyze and monitor trends in incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective measures.

• Develop and implement HSSE programs and procedures.

• Promote employee awareness and participation in safe behaviors.

• Manage the ergonomics program and prioritize corrective actions.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, or Occupational Health Sciences.

• 5 plus years of HSE management experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and plant-specific software systems.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.

• Experience with behavior-based safety programs and ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
