I. OBJECTIVE:

Plan, direct and coordinate the tasks of subordinate supervisors and staff members to carry out the planned production requirements in terms of quality, delivery, and costs through line planning, capacity, and labor.

Recommend improvements and modifications to the organization’s structure, procedures, policies, standards, specifications, and methods and processes to enhance productivity.

II. MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Direct the manufacturing and testing of products according to engineering specifications to cost-effectively meet projected quantities and specified product quality.
• Maintain the required level of productivity through trained personnel, production methods, and well-maintained equipment and work areas.
• Investigate quality, efficiency, labor methods, materials, and other related issues. Identify causes, analyze solutions, and implement corrective actions when appropriate.
• Establish positive communication between the relevant groups detailing the issues and corrective measures to reduce line stoppages and finish product hold-ups.
• Prepare and supervise the budgets of subordinate work units. Initiate projects designed to improve the product cost without compromising product quality.
• Train and motivate supervisors to achieve continuous improvement and waste elimination; understand the metrics and achieve the goals.
• Effective communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal relationship management skills.
• Decision-making, problem-solving, and effective leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health.
• Support in areas AFA and AMB all shifts.

III. Requirements:

• Education: bachelor’s and master’s degrees, preferably with Green Belt certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years in manufacturing production.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
• Good computer skills; problem-solving techniques
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Project management; ability to train and motivate supervisors to promote continuous improvement and waste elimination
• Solid expertise in electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT (Surface Mount Technology), THT (Through-Hole Technology), AMB plastic assembly & final product.
• Supervisory responsibility: Directly supervises production supervisors. May also supervise administrative or support staff.
