About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic FP&A Manager to support our UTEC business within the North America Building Technologies division. Based in Monterrey, Mexico, this role is a key member of our finance team, driving performance across P&L, cash flow, and strategic financial initiatives. Your insights will help shape decisions that impact our customers and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As an FP&A Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary finance business partner for UTEC, collaborating with operations and management to drive financial performance.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial results, identifying trends, and initiating corrective actions.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Reviewing and communicating key performance indicators such as orders, backlog, sales, and margins.
- Evaluating new business proposals and capital investments, offering strategic recommendations.
- Providing financial and technical expertise to leadership.
- Conducting ad hoc analysis and investigations as needed.
- Promoting an ethical culture aligned with Carrier’s policies.
- Championing continuous improvement across financial processes.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in FP&A or financial business partnering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, Power BI).
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Experience in manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and international financial standards.
- MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA).
