In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

The Opportunity

This position assist in the financial activities within the site operations, including annual strategy and operating plans, dailly reports, and special requests. Analyze financial data that show key information daily for the decision making, Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify opportunities and trends.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare cost reports, identifying anomalies and variances, explain causes and correct the registration.    
•  Analyze financial data and participate building financial models    
•   Material analysis (prices, usages, consumables, etc)       
•   Analysis of overhead cost centers impacting overall produc   
•   Participate in new product transfers as required supporting budgeting / forecast process.   
•  Participate in KPI's reviews with Operational areas, anticipate cost impact.   

Required Qualifications

• Education:  Bachelor's degree in Finance and accounting
• +3 years professional experience in finance.
• English language is required, skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Other qualifications/certifications:  Strong knowledge of finance, general accounting is a plus, SAP, strong excel skills.
