We are looking to hire a Traffic Specialist to join our team at ZF Santa Rosa.
What you can look forward as Traffic Specialist:
- Works effectively in coordinating shipments to ensure the arrival and departure of goods. Supports plants with critical situations involving inbound, outbound, and domestic deliveries.
- Gives instructions and follows up with Carriers and Customs Agents. Monitors time and cost parameters related to shipments to communicate to users. Ensures operational efficiency in shipments through logistics coordination, delivery follow-up, and regulatory compliance.
- Participates in decision-making and metric analysis at their level and escalates priority issues. Monitors progress or delays in operations to facilitate decision-making.
- Actively collaborates with related administrative areas to improve operational development.
- Executes departmental activities with safety and responsibility, taking ownership of their operation. Verifies and validates charges billed by various service providers for subsequent approval.
- Complies with established company policies such as Safety, Environmental, and Quality, as well as embodies company values, committing to other regulatory requirements that ensure standardization and harmonization subscribed by the company.
- Communicates problems assertively and timely to allow preventive rather than reactive handling. Follows up on claims for damages or discrepancies of goods due to poor transportation.
Your profile as Traffic Specialist:
- 4 - 5years solid working experience in Traffic
- Automotive experience is a must (T1 preferable).
- Experience in CTPAT audits.
- Experience in all Transportation Methods (Sea freight, Airfreight, Cross Border, National, Locals) IMPO & EXPO.
- Desirable: strong experience in Maritim & impo/expo
- Strong technical skills with: Microsoft Office
- English Advanced
