Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Revenue to join our team in the beautiful Playa del Carmen, Mexico. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing pricing strategies, and leading a high-performing revenue management team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams
- Lead and mentor a team of revenue management professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and optimize pricing
- Oversee the development and management of annual revenue budgets and long-term financial projections
- Implement and leverage cutting-edge revenue management technologies and tools to enhance decision-making processes
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and overall revenue performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in revenue management to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior revenue management roles, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing pricing strategies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Advanced knowledge of revenue management principles, distribution channels, and market trends
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
