Senior OSM Development Consultant – Remote Mexico
We’re seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior OSM Development Consultant to join our telecoms team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and configuring order orchestration flows and related components within Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM). You will play a key role in integrating solutions across OSS/BSS systems, ensuring compliance with business needs, technical standards, and best practices in OSS architecture.
What You’ll Do
Design, configure, and maintain order orchestration models in Oracle OSM (versions 7.4/7.5).
Create and maintain Order Recognition Rules, Order Lifecycle Policies, Task Automation, and Process Flows.
Integrate OSM with other OSS/BSS systems (BRM, Siebel, UIM, Inventory, Service Activation) using native APIs and TMF Open APIs.
Implement SOAP/REST web services for system integration, leveraging JMS, xQuery, and middleware adapters (WebLogic, OSB, SOA Suite, Kafka).
Analyze and resolve incidents and defects in OSM environments, applying root-cause analysis and performance optimization in complex orchestrations.
Document configurations, APIs, and solution designs, while ensuring compliance with architecture standards and methodologies (TM Forum ODA, eTOM).
Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and performance validation.
Collaborate with business and IT teams in Agile and Waterfall projects, modeling business processes and supporting telecom service solutions.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years designing, configuring, and customizing OSM orchestration models (7.4/7.5).
3+ years developing integrations with OSS/BSS systems via native APIs and TMF Open API.
3+ years implementing SOAP/REST services for system integrations.
2+ years analyzing and resolving incidents/defects in OSM environments and optimizing performance.
Knowledge:
Telecom services, OSS/BSS applications, TMF Open API standards, and Cloud Network services.
Middleware and messaging tools: WebLogic, OSB, SOA Suite, Kafka.
DevOps deployment practices and agile methodologies.
Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and strong customer orientation.
Languages: Advanced English.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
