Executive Summary
The CFO will lead the financial strategy, optimizing capital and managing equity and debt investors. This role is critical for Tienda Pago's operations across Mexico and Peru. They will drive planning, resource efficiency, and funding risk mitigation for growth and value creation, serving as a key strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities
Capital and Financing Strategy:
- Define and execute strategies for raising debt and equity capital to optimize the company's financial structure.
Investor Relations and Financial Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with debt and equity investors, ensuring transparent and timely communication. Spearhead the preparation and presentation of detailed financial reports and strategic presentations for investors and the board of directors.
Financial Planning and Strategic Analysis:
- Direct the development of robust financial projections and the management of stress scenarios for strategic decision-making. Oversee cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Budget Management and Cost Control:
- Establish and manage comprehensive budgets, implementing effective cost control mechanisms across all areas of the organization.
Treasury and Financial Risk Management:
- Optimize liquidity and treasury management, ensuring efficiency in cash flow management.
- Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of financial risks, with a special focus on managing foreign exchange risk, defining and implementing strategies to protect the company's assets and profitability.
Audit, Accounting, and Compliance:
- Ensure the integrity of accounting processes and key account management, oversee regulatory financial compliance, and manage the regulatory reporting for all legal entities within the group (USA, Peru and Mexico), while leading the relationship with external auditors.
Pricing and Profitability Strategy:
- Collaborate closely Risk, Product and Growth to define pricing strategies that maximize profitability and customer value.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Interact effectively with members of the board of directors, providing a strategic financial perspective to discussions and decisions.
- This position reports directly to the CEO.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering. An MBA with a specialization in Finance or the CFA certification is highly valued.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
