Buyer

Will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing projects covering various categories ranging from raw materials, packaging materials, CAPEX/MRO, and general services.

The role will primarily support our manufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico, but may also lead projects for our

European and Asian geographies as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and review purchase requests to ensure accuracy and alignment with company needs.
• Obtain quotes from multiple suppliers to compare pricing, lead times, and quality.
• Coordinate approval processes with management to confirm budgetary and operational alignment.
• Select and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Order & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Monitor and follow up on purchases to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of supplier commitments.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication between suppliers, purchasing teams, and internal users to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping of purchases and deliveries, maintaining documentation for audits and operational efficiency.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:

• Process and manage credit applications with suppliers as necessary to support procurement activities and payment terms.
• Verify that all purchases align with budget constraints and financial policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, LAE, LNI or similar.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Raw Materials purchasing, or MRO.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
