Avantor is looking for a Bids & Quotes Customer Support Sr. Associate.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 yrs. background on Quotes/Customer Service-related activities preferred.

THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

  • Must be able to communicate in English C1 (Verbal and Written)

  • C1: Can understand and express complex ideas spontaneously with some degree of fluency and can properly organize sophisticated text and communicate with substantial detail.
  • Should be able to handle and operate under pressure.

  • Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Organizational and computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Unyielding integrity.

  • Willingness and ability to pick up new technical skills and information quickly -

  • intellectual curiosity and initiative.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

  • Understand departmental standards and procedures and help to ensure that quality

  • standards are met.

  • Create Quotations following Customers instructions.

  • Perform Pricing by analyzing various aspects of pricing.

  • Provide Quotations within a strict timeframe.

  • Perform specific monthly projects as appropriate.

  • Understand different product lines and quoting strategies.

  • Interact with different internal departments to ensure requirements are met

  • Interact with Customers and Vendors over calls to obtain relevant details to

  • perform Quoting.

  • Interact live on Click to Chat with Sales team and Customers.

  • Perform routine maintenance.

  • Complete assignments on time.

  • Assist with special projects, as requested.
