You Are:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and support infrastructure and deployment needs for the US region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and modern deployment strategies including serverless and containerized applications.
The opportunity:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform.
- Support serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
- Manage containerized workloads using services like ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure cloud solutions.
- Provide support during CST business hours.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks and container orchestration.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
