We are searching for the best talent for Trainer I to be in Ciudad Juarez, Planta Ethicon Inc.

Purpose:

Completes tasks for the support function of the Quality Training unit, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Communicates with cross-functional teams to improve and standardize training processes.
Organizes training materials prepared by instructors within the Quality Training function.
Ensures all hard-copy training records are completed accurately and filed correctly.
Helps monitor compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures within the Quality Training function.
Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Along with the Training Coordinator, the trainer ensures that all manufacturing associates are trained to the corresponding specifications / procedures, as established in the training curriculum.
  • Execute New Hire Orientation activities (NHO) as required.
  • Assign exams to assess the training effectiveness.
  • Document training activities and verify documentation related to training.
  • Supports the development of programs and materials for the effectiveness of training for manufacturing personnel.
  • Support in the maintenance of department files.
  • Maintains reports and department records (matrix, records, reports, etc.)
  • Supports manufacturing associates in solving machine and product / process problems.
  • Supports manufacturing activities related to training as required.
  • Participates in Site's safety initiatives.
  • Know and comply with all safety regulations established by the company.

TWI Methodology Activities (Training Within Industry) as required:

  • Teach and certify the selected experts to train in the operations, applying the TWI methodology.
  • Evaluates, monitors, and coaches in the execution and instruction of the methodology that is given to the associates.
  • Participates in the monthly compliance evaluation of associates in the areas of their control.
  • Create and review the creation of Job Breakdown Sheets (JBS) for new or existing activities and ensure that they comply with the guidelines and best practices.
  • Ensures that the process verification activities (1 and 2) are carried out and supports the archiving of it when required.
  • Operator Certification Activities (OPCERT) as required:
  • Train employees who will be entering the certified operator program.
  • Train new QA Technicians or colleagues in manufacturing areas in tasks and responsibilities that ensure quality.
  • Notifies about any non-conformity related to Operations audits to the OpCert Program Coordinator.
  • Performs the product disposition in process in practical evaluation (if applicable).
  • Supports the creation of physical and electronic samples of defects according to the nature of the process to be certified.
  • Train employees within the program in procedures, changes to specifications and new regulations related to Operations.
  • Supports associates in the knowledge of defects and specification requirements.
  • Performs the review of release records for certified associates in the process.
  • Performs electronic captures in the CW system to release certified associates.
  • Verify the quality history of the candidates to be certified to the LIMS system (as required).
  • Stores and captures quality audit performed on the Operators.
  • Review the audit reports and the dates assigned by the recertification, coordinate with the execution of the audits and recertification of the affected operators.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications / Requirements:

EDUCATION: High School or equivalent is minimum required.

JOB EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years in a training position is preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS

  • Multifunctional; Knowledge in several production areas.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • High level of visual ability.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Computational skills (preferable).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skill.
  • Good understanding of Safety, Ergonomics, and International Standards requirements (ISO).
