As the Trade & Customs Manager, you will own the design, implementation, and audit of our IMMEX (Maquiladora) Annex 24, VAT Certification Annex 31 and OEA (Mexico Supply Chain Certification) programs. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Trade and Customs for the AME Region, you'll collaborate across Procurement, Finance, Materials, Maintenance and external partners to ensure compliant, efficient import/export operations and drive continuous improvement.

You'll join Molex's Procurement division, leading a cross-functional Trade & Customs team at our Molex Sur facility. Together, you'll uphold best-in-class compliance standards, support corporate reporting requirements and continuously enhance our global trade processes.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor direct and indirect Trade & Customs teams to develop, deploy and audit SOPs for all import/export operations.
- Design and execute risk assessments and control frameworks focused on legal, tax and customs regulations.
- Partner with Finance and Maintenance to establish and audit fixed-asset import/export controls.
- Manage customs broker relationships: define SOPs, track KPIs and drive process improvements.
- Coordinate and support external audits by SAT and Secretaría de Economía, and develop strategies to prevent fines and penalties.
- Provide IMMEX guidance for new production-line transfers and product introductions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong proven experience managing IMMEX Maquiladora programs, VAT & OEA certifications and Annex 24 systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Customs Law and Tax Law related to Maquiladora regulations, VAT Certification and OEA program.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience using Power BI or Microsoft Access for compliance reporting and analytics.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable trade compliance controls.
- Prior success leading cross-border production transfers and regulatory change initiatives.
